Why ventilate?

Aeration provides the following benefits: it improves the root system, decompacts the soil, allowsair to infiltrate thesoil, and allows water and minerals to penetrate the soil better.

How does aeration work?

The technician crosses the entire plot and removes small cores of soil with his aerator.

When do we ventilate?

Lawnaeration is carried out once or twice a year in spring and/or autumn.

What should I do if I have underground wires or sprinklers?

If you have underground wires or sprinklers, you should immediately notify cVert to ensure that they are not damaged and to find a way to avoid them.

Can you aerate your lawn at any time of the season?

No, because this can encourage weed growth. It is therefore important toaerate the lawn in spring or autumn.

Should I pick up the carrots after aeration?

Soil cores are not collected after aeration, as they provide the soil with organic matter when they disintegrate, thus providing good nutrients for lawn development.

When should dethatching be carried out?

Stubble ploughing should be carried out after aeration, to break up the accumulated soil cores. At the same time, you’ll obtain a small amount of topsoil with organic matter that’s very good for plant growth.
